Welcome. "Drink Deep" is a blog about the things that have mattered and continue to matter to me: climbing, school reform, literacy, hardcore punk, community. I'm a suburban high school teacher, big city dweller, wannabe alpinist, part-time thread jockey, recovering luddite. 82% vegan and as Buddhist as an atheist can be, I want this site to document some of my thoughts on music, school, and the mountians that I love. Take what you can from it.
